Susan Sun, the founder of Unicorn Education Solutions, is a seasoned educator with more than 15 years’ experience working as a trainer, facilitator, consultant and coach in different settings from university to renowned multi-national company. In current role, Susan is committed to support high school students and their family through bringing a strengths-based, personalized and systematic approach to university preparation and the admissions process.
Susan earned her BA in Education17 years ago and a Master of Science in Psychology from Peking University. She is currently a master program student in global education at University of British Columbia. Susan is also proud to be an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and in the process of Canadian professional counseling licensure application.
With strong background in psychological studies and application of psychometric assessment portfolio, Susan’s service specializes in providing a holistic approach for education planning with a focus on helping young people identify their interests, academic abilities, talents and personal strengths through consulting with the aid of assessment tools. Going through all the above for a student forms the basis for the following educational planning and career options exploration to create an individualized plan for their success in high school and further education.
